Flex-on’s Safe-on safety stirrup features an outer branch designed to open and release the foot as the rider’s weight acts against it in a fall.
A minimum weight of 40kg is required to trigger the release, and the branch can be re-attached quickly and simply.
The Safe-on Junior works in exactly the same way, but is for riders under 40kg. An optional safety cage (foot stopper) is also available for the Safe-on Junior.
Previously, the opened branch had to be re-fastened with a small tool. NOW the new design allows the rider just to push it back by hand, – even quicker and simpler!
