The Myler System is a humane; logical; and effective way to communicate with your horse
All horses are different in their anatomy, disposition and behaviour, and their understanding changes as they develop through their training. It therefore makes no sense to “shoehorn” a horse into a particular bit just because the rider is familiar with it, or is pleased with how it has worked on other horses.
Communication is a two-way process, but horses and humans have very different approaches to it. Humans have almost too many means of communication at their disposal and often struggle to use them in a clear and consistent way. Horses, on the other hand, can communicate with us only in two fundamental ways: relaxing or resisting. Achieving a real partnership between horse and rider depends on effective communication and is the mark of a true horseman.
